PACE Performance 1911 course is set up with the student in mind. Course will offer a 2 hour block of classroom geared towards 1911 maintenance and understanding.

The rest of the class is a performance course tailored towards the 1911/2011, helping each student maximize the individual skills covered below.

 

TOPICS COVERED:

  • Classroom explanation of the 1911 and 2011 design
    (Includes Licensed Gunsmith on site to help shooters understand their personal firearm)

  • Discussion of 1911 and 2011 myths and misconceptions

  • Grip and recoil management of the 1911 and 2011

  • Trigger control unique to the single action of both 1911 and 2011

  • Reloading techniques for the 1911
    (speed and tactical reload)

  • Draw and presentation of the 1911 and 2011
    (frame mounted safety techniques)

  • Accuracy

  • Speed and Rhythm drills

equipment NEEDED

ROUND COUNT: 600 MINIMUM

REQUIRED GEAR

  • Notepad and pen

  • Cleaned, Serviceable Pistol – at least 9mm

  • 3 Magazines 1 Holster and 2 Mag pouches

  • Strong belt

  • Ear Protection – electronic recommended

  • Eye Protection

  • Pants

  • Sturdy Footwear
